Common Questions About Working Together

If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out at mpues@bradfordbkg.com - we’re happy to help.

We specialize in real estate investors and service-based businesses - industries with specific financial complexities most general bookkeepers aren't built for. From categorizing capital improvements correctly, to reconciling property manager reports, to trust account reconciliations for law firms, we understand what your books actually need.

We deliver CPA-ready financials in a transparent, structured format so you always know where your business stands.

Yes. While real estate investors make up a significant part of our client base, we also work with professional service firms including law firms, dental practices, consulting businesses, and more. If your business has multiple entities, complex financials, or you simply want clean, reliable books - we'd love to connect.

Yes. We are a fully remote bookkeeping firm serving real estate investors and business owners across the United States. All consultations and services are conducted virtually through secure online platforms.

Monthly bookkeeping includes reconciled bank and credit card accounts, transaction categorization, QuickBooks Online maintenance, and clear monthly financial statements.

The specific scope of support depends on the tier selected and the size of your business.

During your consultation, we review your business type, number of entities, accounts, and monthly transaction volume to recommend the right tier. Most single-entity clients with straightforward needs start at Foundation, while those managing multiple entities, higher transaction volume, or wanting regular communication typically start at Insight or Guidance.

Our pricing is structured in clear monthly tiers based on the size and complexity of your business. Tiers start at $300/month plus QBO subscription and scale based on transaction volume, entity count, and support level needed.

During your consultation, we'll review your accounts and monthly activity to determine the right tier for your needs.

We offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation to review your business and determine fit. You can schedule directly through our booking link at the bottom of the page.

Yes. Property managers handle tenant relations and operations, but they don’t provide comprehensive financial reporting. We reconcile property manager reports with your bank accounts to ensure complete financial visibility.

Yes. We regularly integrate reports from AppFolio, Buildium, and similar platforms into QuickBooks Online to ensure all income and expenses are accurately reflected.

Repairs and maintenance are typically deductible in the current year, while capital improvements are depreciated over time. Proper categorization matters for both tax reporting and accurate property performance tracking.

Yes. Each legal entity should maintain its own set of books for accurate reporting and compliance. We’ll help you ensure your entities are structured correctly within QuickBooks Online.

To get started, we'll request access to your QuickBooks Online file (if applicable), administrative bank access, EIN documentation, and an overview of your business or property structure.

Our onboarding process is structured and guided, so you'll always know what's happening next.

No. Services are month-to-month — no long-term contracts required.

A one-time onboarding fee applies to all new clients to cover initial setup and configuration. After that, you're billed monthly with no lock-in.

We do send annual service renewal letters each year to review your current tier, confirm your needs, and ensure everything is still the right fit as your business grows.

If you ever need to cancel, we require 60 days written notice. This allows us to properly close out your books and ensure a smooth transition.

Yes, transparently and with notice.

Monthly bookkeeping fees are reviewed annually and any adjustments take effect July 1. We'll provide at least 30 days' notice before any annual rate change.

Outside of the annual review, a fee adjustment may be needed if your business changes in a way that meaningfully affects the scope of work - including increases in transaction volume, number of accounts, payroll changes, cleanup needs, reporting requirements, or QBO subscription cost increases.

We'll always communicate any changes clearly and in advance.
